To get started, attach the VCI case to the OBD-II connector and plug the OBD-II connector into the OBD socket in the car. Turn on the FCAR F7S-G model and connect it to the VCI via bluetooth. Enter “Diagnosis”. Locate and select “Iveco” in the “Diesel Heavy Vehicle” category.

Select “Beta Version”.

Select “Daily”.

Select “Daily [06-11]”.

Select “2006”.

Select “Diesel”.

Select “Bosch EDC 16 C39”.

Select “Particle Filter Regeneration”.

Please note that once the regeneration process has been initiated, the engine speed would increase, the DPF outlet temperature and the exhaust gas temperature will rise to a point and stabilize. These all are the indication that the DPF regeneration is taking place. The test will stop and idle speed will return to normal when the particulate filter is sufficiently cleaned of soot.
